In July 2016, the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) announced that it is now providing unrestricted public access to its “Introduction to Clinical Trials” training program. This free training offering provides education about medical product development, participant protections in place and the role of various parties in the development, research, review and approval process, and is available via the ACRP website here. This one hour course is appropriate for individuals new to the clinical research arena (i.e. investigators, coordinators, study monitors) as well as research subjects and others that are interested in learning more about this field.
